I implemented a change on Board16. 100 total squares will now be required to double-click and create a tax-hole (it still costs 2 moves per created tax-hole once you pass the 100 total requirement). This should solve the problem of phantom snipping accounts on this board.

Good thing, let's see how it works out.

A person with 100 tiles plus has a huge advantage over some one with 99 or less as the 100+ person will be able to attack Way more effectively. Perhaps a "if you have x tiles on the board for x amount of time you gain the double click" clause to that rule, code might be hard and anticipaiting when you get the ability might be a tad tricky too. Perhaps a "if you have or have had more than 100 squares in the current game you can double click" would be a tad easier and would make players on the verge of 100 tiles a tad less likely to be attacked???

I see some of these problems there as well.
Especially if you just crossed the 100, someone else might be inclined to attack you to get you back under....

Not sure I like it, either. Maybe if it was 60 tiles, where you'd have used up the 48 you started with, but have had to hang around a bit. I kind of liked coming in late and being able to do some damage. It was a nice difference from the other boards.

Anyway, Krulle and Fiver, what you're saying isn't really any different from trying to keep your competition from 41 or 81 or whatever tiles so that you can catch up. It's just another strategy.

And similarly to what Fiver was saying, when you get ahead on that board, you end up pretty distantly ahead before too long, anyway, so you have doubly the advantage over any new players by virtue of having not only a higher rate of added moves, but also the double-click thing.

Ok. Let's go with 60 total in order to use the double click. I'll update that now.

You´re right, kiaz. The advantage of being slightly in front is already dangerous on board 16. The only reason you might still lose, is when you have to leave the Onlinestatus.
